Do you know what this....
...plus this equals?
This!
I was playing in the front yard with Jordyn yesterday and I was pitching the wiffle ball to her. She informed me that Papa had been practicing with her and she was really doing very well. When out of no where she hit a line drive into my chin. It stung but was really no big deal until I walked inside a few minutes later to get supper on and realize that I am dripping blood everywhere! It took 45 minutes of ice and pressure to SLOW down the bleeding. But thanks to butterfly bandaids that Joey went and got, today there is little blood and a very sore chin. But, if she gets a scholarship I will wear my scar with pride! I will spare you the picture of the acutal wound....it is not pretty!

YIKES! I LOVE the pink bat - leave it to our prissy girls to pick a pink bat! ;) Your grass is really pretty too!
I wish the bat was pink and my grass was that green...but it is just my not so good camera that makes it look that way. :)
Oh, Jennifer, it's usually the KIDS that have booboos before pictures! SO sorry! Par for the course, huh????
Wow!! You might wanta wait a bit before you upgrade to a tennis ball.....I'm thinking you might want to go ahead and get her in some private lessons...LOL

HA!!!! I love it. Aren't kids fun? Brooke wounded me one time too a couple of years ago. She had been gone to Ecuador ALL summer long. Her first night home we shot fireworks. Well..our family does more than shoot them - we have wars!! I normally watch from the window because I'm a big chicken. Well...this time I decided to watch since this was Brooke's first night home from being gone so long. I had just sat down on our front porch when I saw this flash of light shooting towards me. I quickly jerked down when a firecracker glazed the side of my face and popped in my ear. I had a little cut next to my eye and my ear!! The person who did it was Brooke!!! She says it was an accident. Needless to say that was my first time and LAST time to go outside when they are shooting fireworks.
