This half of a week with no TV has really made me think, read and pray a lot. Which is the whole point. We are to fast from food for one day also. My body won't allow me to do that so I gave up sweets and caffeine yesterday. It was a long day and a big headache (literally) at the end but well worth it all.

What a great God we serve. He is so willing to speak to us if we just take the time to get quiet and listen. With out the distraction of TV I have heard many new things. I am excited about what he is doing in my life, the life of my family and the life of our church. When called Christians are willing to do what it takes to serve and share Jesus with others their world will be rocked!
