and I love him more today than ever!
It is so hard to believe that I have been married to Joey for 12 years. Some days it seems like we just met and then the next minute I can't remember my life without him.
May 22, 1996 we had our first phone conversation that lasted 6 hours. I hung up the phone and knew that I would marry that man.
The next day we went on our first date.
April 23, 1997 he asked me to marry him by singing Geoffe Moore in the Distance's song "If You Could See What I See".
And June 6, 1998 we were married.
Wow.
I remember thinking "What in the world are we going to talk about for the rest of our lives...." Conversation has definitely changed over the years. From, "Where are we going to go eat and with who" to, "What am I going to cook that the girls will actually eat..."
I have loved every stage with him. I have enjoyed growing up with him...we were such babies when we got married...as you can see in this next picture.
We have learned a lot about each other. Both as a couple and individually.
It has not been easy all the time. Marriage might be the hardest thing I have ever done...next to raising children.
But 9 moves and 2 kids later...I'd do it all over again!!
I love being married to this wonderful, Godly man. I am so blessed to call Joey my husband!
Thank you Joey for making me your wife. I love you!
