New Year

Well, since it is almost February I thought I would wish everyone a Happy New Year!

I feel like I should blog all the time...just never have much to say. My words are used in teaching and through out the rest of the day around here. By the time I have time to sit for a minute my mind is mush.

I will say this year has been great so far. Our pastor gave the church 3 challenges this year.

Number 1: read the Bible through this year. I have to admit, since my hubby did too, that I have been a Christian since I was 8 years old. And now at the age of 36 I can say I have never read the Bible cover to cover. It has been challenging and very beneficial. And since I know that the entire church is challenged to do this I have some accountability also.

Challenge Number 2: have family church once a week. We have not followed through with this yet. BUT I have faith that we can and will do it. Sing, Read, Pray. Not to hard.

Challenge Number 3: Get involved in a Connect Group. We have a great group that Joey teaches in a home on Tuesday nights that we love! I have really enjoyed being in a small group with Joey for the first time in our married life. It is a good thing. And we have a great group...but there is always room for more!
