One of those weeks...

Have you ever had one of those weeks that you wish you could start over.

That's been my week.

After the dreaded stomach bug last week with JC that lasted literally all week long, and a back ache that would not let go for me, I missed church Sunday. Not cool. I did get to visit with my sweet friend Angie on Sunday but I needed worship...know what I mean?

So, Monday, school. After all week of pretty much no school for JC and playing catch up with Jordyn, Monday started with a bang I tell you.

Then, a little after lunch I received a text from Joey letting me know that one of our precious couples in our church lost their 3 month old baby girl to SIDS at the babysitters house that morning...

I lost it.

I don't understand. And I know that I'm not called to. But that is a hard thing to walk through and watch others walk through.

But you know, they have walked with the grace that only the Lord can provide.

The funeral is today.

Good Friday.

The Dad is preaching the Gospel at the funeral.

That precious little girl is spending her first Easter in Heaven with our risen Savior.

But here, on earth, it will be a hard, hard day.

Pray for their sweet family. Pray that God is given the glory for that precious little girl's life. Pray that people are saved today!

It's Friday....but Sunday is coming!
