And the Diagnosis is....

Pneumonia.  Yup...spent the entire morning at the Dr. office.  Then was sent to the Imaging place for a chest X-Ray, which I might add Jana Claire did perfectly with!  Was still as a mouse and the girl that took the x-ray was so sweet and JC went right to her and loved on her!  Found out later that her and her husband (married for 8 years) are going through fertility treatments.  Pray for her.  I know that has to be hard. I was so glad that JC saw something in her that she wanted to love on.  Kids are very sensitive in that way I think.  I believe it made that girl's day.  Back to the pneumonia...so had the chest x-ray and they said that the Ped wanted me to go back there.  Which in my mind meant "this is not good".  Because before we left the Dr. said that we would not be coming back.  So, we load her up in that bitterly cold weather and head back.  Get there, unload, go in and the nurse tells me, "I talked with Dr. (fill-in-blank) and she said to do exactly what she told you when you were here and call us with an update on JC tomorrow."  WHAT!  I had to haul my baby that has PNEUMONIA in for you to tell me THAT!  Could they not have called me at home with that update!  Sometimes I just don't understand people.  So, she had 2 breathing treatments at the Dr.'s office and is on an inhaler every 4 hours for the next 24.  Jordyn went to be with Papa and Gran Gran tonight (THANK YOU!!!) and I have this CRAZY acting child at home.  At least she is not crying.  She is not eating anything but goldfish and I am forcing fluids.  All that and I have a head cold and can't breathe.  You know what though, I have it so good...God is good all the time and He is reminding me of that daily.  At least I have insurance that covers Dr.'s bills and JC is not in the hospital, and I have a warm house to stay in and take care of her, and the list could go on and on.
