We're Still Alive

Hi everyone! It's Joey and I saw the blog has not been updated in sometime. Sorry about that. Due to the selflessness of my incredible wife, she can't keep you informed on our happenings as often as she'd like. I figured I'd check in for her and let you what's been going on in our little world.

Things have been really busy for us. We're still adjusting to being a home school family. Learning how to balance all the urgent with the important. Jordyn is doing really well, and thanks to the iPod touch and Netflix online streaming, Jana Claire is easier to deal with during school time. Jordyn's grades are really good and the reading and math skills are coming along.

Since Jennifer's last blog JC turned turned three. That girl is crazy I tell ya! She is such a joy, and couldn't be any more opposite than her sister. Funny how that works! We've been begging her to say her own name and she finally caved and said it last week when Jennifer withheld gum. Worked like a charm.

The most exciting news we have to share is that Sunday, November 21 Jordyn asked Jesus to be her Savior and Lord. We are so thrilled. We've prayed consistently for the salvation of both girls since their birth. Answered prayer is such an encouragement. We've seen dramatic changes in her demeanor and attitude. Even at 6 years old, we've God do such a miraculous work in her life. I can't wait to see what God has in store for her. On February 27 I will get the privilege of baptizing my sweet daughter in the flesh and sister in Christ.

Well, that's a little of what we're up to. I'll try to keep you posted a little more often on our goings on. Maybe we can get some new pics up soon so you can see how the girls have grown.

Blessings!
Joey
