So, I'm back in the swing of things. I go for about 4 months doing really well then get tired and take a 3 month break...run out of food and start up again.
Today, I went to Kroger and saved 48% on my total bill! Went to Target and saved 40% and then back to Kroger for 4 boxes of cereal and saved 74%! My best buys were $.48 boxes of cereal (Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Nut Cheerios and Lucky Charms!) and $.45 boxes of Toaster Strudels!
We started this week with a $50 less grocery budget. I have $24 left and only one more stop to Walgreens tomorrow for a $16 trip...and will get $9 back in Register Rewards!
Needless to say I'm excited and we will be eating cereal ALOT over the next month. Good thing my girls eat it everyday for breakfast!

you are not your mothers daughter..who r u?
Haha. You sound JUST like me. I do SO good, then I get tired and take a break for a few months and realize my family needs food. Couponing was really fun at first, and I still do it, but it is a chore. But, it sure is a good rush to see the savings in the end!
