Growing

School is out! We have been done for a week and we are thrilled! We have had a lazy week and I have enjoyed every minute.

Here are some pictures from Easter. I had already changed clothes so none of me.

My girls are growing so fast. I just can't believe that Jordyn will be 8 in 8 days. It seems like just yesterday she was Jana Claire's age.

Speaking of growing.....

I feel like my spiritual life has been stagnant for a while. If you remember I wrote about the challenge that our pastor gave our church this year. So far I have kept up with the reading plan.  But I have been so encouraged through the scripture and prayer time that I have been having. I have gotten into a routine that works with my girls and the Lord has truly blessed my efforts.

Yesterday, I decided to buy the book by Kaye Arthur "Lord Teach Me to Study the Bible-in 28 days" I have tried her inductive Bible Study before and got bogged down. But I'm telling you...it is fresh and is feeding my soul. I'm so thankful for the work He is doing in my life because I have been willing to allow it.  

I am a wretched sinner, who without Jesus am bound to an eternity in hell. I am so thankful for my salvation and the fact that the Lord wants a relationship with me. 

I'm thankful for my church staff that saw the vision of having the church read through the Bible this year. It has made a difference in my life....and it can make a difference in yours.
