We went to....wait for it because it is really romantical....Hillcrest Christian School's graduation at Mississippi College.
I know, right!
The night before our first date was a Wednesday. That night at church my phone number was given to Joey. We talked for the first time ever that night after he got home from choir practice. He called at 9:00 pm and we did not get off the phone until 3:00 am the next morning. When I hung up the phone that morning I knew that I would marry him.
I will never forget walking up those steps and seeing church members mouths fall open as we came together.
You see, two weeks before this big day, I had ended a 3 year relationship with someone else. I knew that the Lord wanted that relationship to end. It was incredibly hard for me to get out of my comfortable relationship and trust that the Lord knew what was right for me.
But He did.
And He still does.
I thank God everyday for Joey. He is an amazing husband and father!
I love you, Joey Williams! Thanks for putting up with me for this long. I love being your wife!
