This week I have read some posts on Facebook and blogs of friends of mine that are parents of boys. Parents who are trying to raise their boys to be men of God with manners and everything!
What a concept I know.
It has me thinking a lot about my girls and their future mates.
It is my responsibility to teach them to be ladies.
To teach them to be women of God.
Followers of Christ.
Ladies that those men of God will be attracted to. Not because of the way they look on the outside, but because of Christ who lives on the inside.
What an awesome responsibility that is as a parent.
But, with the Lord's help and leading I pray that I do a job that is worthy of the calling He has placed on my life as a mom.
I love my job. It is hard, challenging and so rewarding.
Thank you Lord for blessing me! And I pray for my girls future husbands. Bless them and their parents today. Encourage them with your strength and give them the endurance to run the race and finish strong!
